2016 Mike Koch Scholarship

Mike Koch was a talented guy, he could have done many things with his life and what he chose to do was drive a truck for Green Products Company.   He loved driving a truck and he was a driver’s driver - one of the very best.  During the prime of his life, cancer took it at age 42.

Matt & Rusty Schryver are the owners of Green Products Company and they had great respect for Mike Koch.  They decided to memorialize him by presenting a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who served as a role model to their classmates --- someone who has demonstrated high levels of integrity and compassion over the course of several years.

This award is unique because it is the students themselves who select the recipient.  The BCLUW Class of 2016 awarded this scholarship to Ethan Hoveland.
